The Joshua Brook is a small river in the southern corner of Western Australia.

Traditionally Noongar land, it meanders down through the Darling Scarp, forming exquisitely secluded and memorable landscapes as it flows to the Indian Ocean.

Founding Architect Tim Pardoe grew up here. It helped shape his appreciation for the natural landscape. Its indomitability and delicacy, and the resulting impact our built environment has upon it. These sensibilities now inform and inspire his approach to architecture and furniture design.

Hello and Moin, I’m Tim Pardoe.

I believe architecture can be more accessible, more sustainable and more personal through an open and collaborative relationship between architect and client. When we begin with understanding, great design follows naturally.

That same curiosity shapes my approach to delivering custom projects. Exploring how ideas take form, how materials can be used and reused, how spaces are crafted, and ultimately, how people live within them.

Guiding collaboration. Our network of specialists.

Architecture is a shared craft. Relationships built on trust, clearly defined roles and a spirit of collaboration. At its core, the partnership between client, architect, and builder is integral to a good outcome. Supporting this, we have a network of specialists. Engineers, surveyors, landscape designers, lighting and environmental specialists, tradespeople and artisans.

Our role is to guide this collaboration so that every voice strengthens the project.

Kind words from our Clients

Between Australia and Germany.

From Western Australia to Hamburg, we work between both countries, often remotely but always grounded in local knowledge and collaboration. We visit sites when we can and work with a trusted network of builders, designers and consultants to ensure every idea is realised with care and precision.

Modern tools allow us to complete all design phases remotely with accuracy and efficiency, while local partnerships ensure on-site quality and craftsmanship of the highest standard.
