The Joshua Brook is a small river in the southern corner of Western Australia.
Traditionally Noongar land, it meanders down through the Darling Scarp, forming exquisitely secluded and memorable landscapes as it flows to the Indian Ocean.
Founding Architect Tim Pardoe grew up here. It helped shape his appreciation for the natural landscape. Its indomitability and delicacy, and the impact our built environment has upon it. These sensibilities inform and inspire his approach to architecture and furniture design.
“I just love designing and making things. I think i do this because I’m curious. About how ideas take form, how things are made, and how people live within them. Curiosity is my compass. It’s what brought me to Hamburg, and what keeps guiding me home.”
Team and Collaborators
Architecture is a shared craft. Relationships built on trust and collaboration. At its core is the partnership between client, architect, and builder. Supporting this, we have a network of specialists. Engineers, surveyors, landscape designers, lighting and environmental specialists, tradespeople and artisans.
Our role is to guide this collaboration so that every voice strengthens the project.
